The most comprehensive source of local climatological data for the United States are the National Centers for Environmental Information. The NOAA-funded Great Lakes Sciences and Assessments Center is joint-venture between the University of Michigan and Michigan State University.  GLISA synthesizes climate information for the Great Lakes region, producing value-added climatological products and summaries, such as the Historical Climatology document shown below left).  The National Weather Service Forecast Office in Detroit, MI has a web-based climate data portal for the State of Michigan, which includes tabular daily climatological summaries for recent months, such as the table shown below right.  Clicking on each image will take you directly to the source of this information.
